Squirrel Stampede (work in prog)
I heard a story about a squirrel stampede and how there used to be more trees.
And then I read a book that told a story about the death of the very last American type of tree.
A Chestnut.
Today I saw a scavenger hunt for trees and heard people complain it's impossible- The American chestnut was on the list!
But other people chimed in saying no! It's possible because they do in fact still exist!
And so the American Chestnut isn't extinct but rare, and they grow for about near 30 a year.
What happened was long long long after death, in the roots began regeneration
